Rachel Carder, 53, was found dead inside the trunk of an SUV on January 18, 2023 in Madison County, Kentucky. Now, 54-year-old David Reed is under arrest after a high speed chase. Rachel used a wheelchair. <\/p>\n

According to an arrest citation, David was driving in Madison County when police say they were alerted to him weaving in the roadway. Cops pulled David over, he stopped at first, and then sped off.<\/p>\n

David later stopped on Interstate 75 after police rammed his vehicle in a pursuit intervention technique. Cops checked David\u2019s SUV and discovered Rachel\u2019s dead body in a plastic tote within the trunk area. <\/p>\n

Rachel had facial trauma and other injuries to her body. She also had injuries consistent with an edged weapon. David had red stains on him, believed to be blood.<\/p>\n

Police say David was fighting with Rachel in a hotel room near the interstate. <\/p>\n

David was arrested and charged with murder domestic violence, tampering with physical evidence, abuse of a corpse, fleeing or evading police, criminal mischief, wanton endangerment, careless driving, resisting arrest, and having no operator\u2019s license. <\/p>\n
