The suspect is identified as 25-year-old David Lucas. David is employed by Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a family engagement advocate. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/125.png\"><\/figure>\n<p>The complaint came in on February 7, 2023. A female student at the academy told a school resource officer that she was inappropriately touched by an adult male employee at the academy. <\/p>\n<p>Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit responded to the scene to take over the investigation. <\/p>\n<p>The very next day, David was arrested without incident.
