The man was on the outside of the bridge hanging onto the railing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/man-tries-to-commit-suicide-at-marriott-hotel-in-uptown-charlotte\">In January 2023 a man attempted to commit suicide, after busting a window at the luxury Marriott Hotel in center city Charlotte, and tried to jump. Police talked him down.<\/a> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Police were seen around the man on West Sugar Creek trying to convince him not to jump.
