The encounter happened on January 18, 2023. <\/p>\n<p>The shooting was on the sidewalk just outside of an apartment building. There was a fight at the apartment moments before the shooting. The female officer was on scene in plain clothes and sweat pants on an undercover assignment.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Leevon is seen grabbing the undercover and attempting to rob her, the cop even was hit in the face during the struggle, giving her an laceration above her right eye. <\/p>\n<p>The cop yells,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll kill you, I will kill you\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Leevon replies, &#8220;you gonna have to kill me then.&#8221; That is when the undercover officer pulls out a gun and shoots Leevon 3 times. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1ujntitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Leevon was shot in the abdomen twice and once in his left hand. Leevon was taken to the hospital, and he was pronounced dead on January 20, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>A tactical response report states that Leevon posed an \u201cimminent threat of battery\u201d without a weapon and physically attacked the officer.
