The fire was on March 6, 2023. <\/p>\n<p>40 firefighters were needed to control the fire. The fire began in a large pile of scrap metal. The fire spread to other areas of the junk yard. The fire caused Donald Ross Rd. to be closed in both directions. <\/p>\n<p>The fire took 2 hours to put out. No injuries were reported. Water pressure increased in the area to contain the fire due to fire department operations. <\/p>\n<p>The fire also caused low lying smoke conditions in the area of Wilkinson Blvd. and Ashley Rd.
