Two teen girls ages 16 and 17 were arrested after being accused of attacking a substitute teacher at Turning Point Academy in Charlotte, NC on March 22, 2023.<\/p>\n
The attack stemmed from an argument with a substitute female teacher at the alternative school. The girls got aggressive toward the teacher and hit her in the face. <\/p>\n
The teacher suffered injuries to her head, neck, and hands. The teacher required hospitalization. Police were then called to the school. The 2 students were arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. <\/p>\n
Turning Point Academy has been struggling with safety concerns for years, some teachers have even quit their jobs at the school due to safety and student bad behavior. <\/p>\n
