Kashif Simmons, 37, is accused of shooting two people on April 16, 2023. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0-jail1.png\"><\/figure>\n<p>At 4:00 p.m., officers working in the area of Romare Bearden Park heard gunshots and immediately began to circulate for the source of the gunfire. <\/p>\n<p>Officers located two people in the park who had sustained gunshot wounds. Officers also quickly located and apprehended the suspect in this incident. <\/p>\n<p>Paramedics responded and transported the victims to local hospitals with life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>A firearm was recovered from the scene.
