The deadly crash was on April 27, 2023.<\/a> Timothy Mcneil, 25, and Leigh Ann Hamilton Marshall, 56, were two of the people killed in the crash. Tim is from Charlotte, NC. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/traffic-e_2tftvvca8gmsu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>At 4:45 p.m. multiple vehicles were involved in the fatal collision at mile marker 106. Rainy conditions and slippery roads contributed to the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Leigh struck a retainer wall and then veered into the path of a tractor trailer rig. Leigh and one of her passengers were stuck under the truck.<\/p>\n<p>Timothy was driving a truck, when he slowed down due to the prior car accident. A 18-wheeler truck then ran into Timothy&#8217;s truck. <\/p>\n<p>Timothy&#8217;s vehicle got caught under the large commercial truck and was dragged hundreds of feet under the truck trailer.<\/p>\n<p>Tim, Leigh, and one other person were pronounced dead on scene.
