Even at people&#8217;s homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIdentifying aliens who overstay their authorized periods of stay is  important for national security, public safety, immigration enforcement,  and processing applications for immigration benefits,\u201d ICE noted.<\/p>\n<p>Since the establishment of ICE in March 2003, the agency has removed  hundreds of thousands of criminal aliens, some of whom fall under the  category of high-profile removals.
