Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department\u2019s Sexual Assault Unit have charged Ronnie Carr, 46, (Seen here) for exposing himself in front of a 6-year-old girl and her mother on Monday morning, which was the first day of school.<\/p>\n
It is increasingly important for parents to walk with their kids to the bus stop and school.<\/p>\n
On Monday, August 27, 2018, at 7:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to Hilo Drive in reference to an indecent exposure call. The victim told responding officers that she was walking her 6-year-old daughter to school when she was approached by a male.<\/p>\n
As they got closer to the male, he grabbed the 6-year-old daughter by the arm and pulled on her. The victim mother grabbed her daughter and Ronnie began to assault her.<\/p>\n
Ronnie walked off and returned to the scene exposing himself to the little girl and her mother by pulling his pants down.<\/p>\n
Responding officers quickly located Ronnie nearby and placed him under arrest.<\/p>\n
Ronnie was charged with Indecent Exposure, Sexual Battery, Assault on a Child under 12, and Attempted Kidnapping.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
