In 2017, Mr. Taji taught fifth grade at  Billingsville Elementary School in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n<p>In July of 2017, a male student disclosed that Mr. Taji had touched his  private areas while staying at Taji\u2019s home as part of a summer camp  that Taji ran.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous other male students associated with Mr. Taji disclosed similar instances of Taji touching them inappropriately.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Lisa C. Bell was disgusted with Mr. Taji&#8217;s actions and sentenced  him to 20-33 months in prison on July 19, 2018. Taji must also register  as a sex offender for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/charlottealerts\/\">Charlotte Alerts<\/a>  exclusively spoke with Charlotte jail guards that admitted Mr. Taji  pretended to be tough during his stay in jail by playing basketball and  rough housing inmates.
