All of the many arrest photos you see here are of illegal immigrants that currently face deportation.

In Charlotte’s most recent arrests, undocumented immigrants have been arrested on their way to work, at their homes, and during large scale raids.

Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) is sending a message that every undocumented immigrant living in the U.S. is subject to removal.

Under the administration of President Donald Trump, authorities have enforced immigration laws more aggressively, resulting in a increased percentage of arrests of undocumented immigrants.

President Obama was a lot more lenient when it came to illegal immigrant arrests. In fact, President Obama only focused on arresting immigrants who had committed felonies and violent crimes. Additionally President Obama created the DACA.

On January 25, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order that gives ICE authority to detain and arrest undocumented immigrants in the U.S., regardless of whether they have a criminal record.

Once an arrest is made, the detainee is given a notice to appear in immigration court. Some are able to bail out of jail, but if they aren’t then they are taken to a immigration detention facility until their court date. The closest immigration detention facility is in Atlanta.

If the judge rules that the undocumented immigrant is to be deported, then they are sent back to the detention facility where they await deportation.

The United States Department of Justice sent Charlotte Alerts an email stating:

> “The American people made very clear their desire to secure our borders and prioritize the public safety and national security of our homeland. It must be clear that there is no right to demand entry without justification,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

>

MARRIAGE FRAUD

American citizenship is highly sought after, so some people become desperate and will do anything to stay in America.

Two beautiful Brazilian women that are living in America illegally approached a Charlotte Alerts reporter on separate occasions offering $5,000 cash in exchange for our reporter to marry them so the women could obtain American citizenship.

$2,000 cash was to be paid up front and the remaining $3,000 was to be paid once the marriage was completed.

In addition to the fast cash, one of the women offered repeated sexual favors too.

Our reporter turned down both offers and reported the situation to the Department of Homeland Security.

IMMIGRATION RAIDS.
