The jury found Darne guilty as<\/p>\n<p>charged.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Eric Levinson sentenced Darne to two consecutive sentences of life in prison without the possibility<\/p>\n<p>of parole.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, Hawa was found fatally shot at Thereasea Clark Elder Park in Charlotte. She was approximately six weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>Darne told police he believed he may have been the father of the child.
