The call for service came in at 8:54 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Independence Division patrol officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service.  Upon arrival, officers  Donald Myers, 58, with an apparent gunshot wound inside of an apartment. Donald was pronounced deceased on scene.<\/p>\n<p>Homicide Detectives are currently canvassing the area to determine whether there are any witnesses to this incident.<\/p>\n<p>Crime Scene Search responded to the call for service to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
