This busted drugged out version of Bonnie and Clyde crashed out during a robbery spree, only to end up with a neck brace and a few free nights in the county jail.<\/p>\n
Timothy Whiteside, 46, and Veronica Crawford, 42, were both arrested for their involvement in a series of robberies that occurred this week in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, November 06, 2018, the duo robbed a woman at gun-point on S. College Street. Later that night at 8:59 p.m., the suspects approached a woman on Central Avenue and brandished a weapon while taking the victim’s purse and cell phone.<\/p>\n
Nearly an hour later at 9:58 p.m., on Commonwealth Avenue the suspects robbed a male victim at gun-point while he was sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot.<\/p>\n
And just 30 minutes later on East Boulevard the crooks struck again, this time robbing a woman at gun-point and stealing her vehicle. The vehicle was recovered unoccupied shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n
During the investigation, Armed Robbery Detectives gathered information that helped them identify the suspect vehicle. Detectives broadcasted that vehicle information to all divisions. On Wednesday at 12:11 a.m., cops spotted the vehicle on Justice Avenue.<\/p>\n
Officers approached the vehicle at which time the vehicle took off and officers pursued the vehicle. After a short vehicle pursuit the suspects were taken into custody after they collided with an innocent bystander’s vehicle.<\/p>\n
