North Carolina principal Richard Knight, 35, raped a 12-year-old female student at school. Richard went on the run and was found dead today in Orange County from an apparent suicide.<\/p>\n
Richard was the principle at Dillard Academy Charter School in Goldsboro, NC. Police learned of the student\u2019s allegations last Thursday afternoon and obtained a warrant Friday charging Richard with statutory rape and a sex act and indecent liberties with a female student.<\/p>\n
Two hunters found Richard’s body today in a wooded area and called 911.<\/p>\n
The hunters\u2019 deer cameras recorded Mr. Knight in the wooded area at approximately 12:36 a.m. on Friday morning. He is alone in the video and appears to be carrying a blanket. Further investigation led to the discovery of Mr. Knight\u2019s Chevrolet Cruze at the Petro Mart on Buckhorn Road.
