Five teenagers performed several robberies and then wrecked after trying to run from police.<\/p>\n
Kaiterrance Moore, 17, Jamaree Edwards, 16, Tajhier Ordde, 16, Kadijah Whitlock, 16, and a 14-year-old male juvenile were all arrested for their involvement in the robbery series.<\/p>\n
On the evening of November 24, 2018, the crew carjacked a man on WT Harris Boulevard in Charlotte, NC. The victim advised that a suspect got in his vehicle and forced him to drive at gunpoint. The suspect then forced the victim out of the vehicle and drove away.<\/p>\n
Three days later on November 27, two of the suspects robbed a victim on Conference Lane.<\/p>\n
On Thursday night police located a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle used in one of the armed robberies.<\/p>\n
Officers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle failed to stop. A pursuit ensued and the vehicle came to a stop on Eastway Drive near Shamrock after striking several vehicles.<\/p>\n
The occupants jumped and ran from the vehicle but were detained shortly afterwards with the assistance of the Aviation and K-9 Units.<\/p>\n
Officers determined that the vehicle involved in the pursuit, a 2013 Kia Optima, was reported stolen from Featherbrook Road on November 27, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
