{"id":15346,"date":"2018-12-21T18:10:33","date_gmt":"2018-12-21T18:10:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3c70022458"},"modified":"2025-02-26T06:51:44","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T06:51:44","slug":"woman-attacked-family-with-large-machete-knife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2018\/12\/21\/woman-attacked-family-with-large-machete-knife\/","title":{"rendered":"WOMAN ATTACKED FAMILY WITH LARGE MACHETE KNIFE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fabiola Chavez, 38, is on her way to prison after she and Carlos Manzanares, 29, allegedly attacked two people with a large machete knife in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although Carlos awaits a verdict, Fabiola was found guilty this week of her crimes and sentenced to over 28 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 21, 2016 at 2 a.m. Fabiola and Carlos allegedly broke into a home on Dunlavin Way. The suspects entered the occupied dwelling uninvited and began striking a man and woman in the head with a hammer and a machete knife multiple times, allegedely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blood splatter soaked walls and bed sheets, as one victim was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Astonishingly, Carlos was allegdely still on scene when responding officers arrived. He was taken into custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over two years later Fabiola was tried for attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The jury found her guilty as charged.
