Both murders happened in the early morning hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/first-murder-victim-of-2019-tortured-a-teen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The first murder involved a 53-year-old man.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second murder involved Nathan Roberts, 37, on Parkway Avenue.
