{"id":15195,"date":"2019-01-28T05:14:02","date_gmt":"2019-01-28T05:14:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f39f0012568"},"modified":"2025-02-26T08:50:25","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T08:50:25","slug":"dominos-pizza-man-killed-while-making-pizza-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2019\/01\/28\/dominos-pizza-man-killed-while-making-pizza-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"DOMINOS PIZZA MAN KILLED WHILE MAKING PIZZA DELIVERY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities said a Domino&#8217;s Pizza employee was fatally shot while making a delivery before midnight Saturday in Darlington, South Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abdul McKenzie, 39, was identified as the employee who was killed, according to the Darlington County Coroner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McKenzie was a Domino\u2019s employee for nearly 20 years,&nbsp;said Osmond Kasim, manager of the Darlington Domino\u2019s Pizza. Kasim described McKenzie as a&nbsp;\u201cloving, caring family man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Darlington Dominos will remain closed indefinitely as the investigation continues, Kasim said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An autopsy will be conducted Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies responded to the scene Saturday night and found a person, later determined to be McKenzie, unconscious in a car, said Darlington County Sheriff\u2019s Office Lt. Robert Kilgo. McKenzie was making a pizza delivery when he was shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.
