Authorities arrested several people in an undercover sex operation in connection with an investigation into human trafficking and prostitution in Merced, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Merced police participated in a statewide operation targeting human trafficking and prostitution called \u201cReclaim and Rebuild\u201d from Jan. 24 to Jan. 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Merced Police Department DART Team along with GVSU officers conducted undercover operations responding to and posting online advertisements on known commercial sex websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When officers were contacted through numbers posted online, they negotiated sex acts for money and arrested suspects who arrived at designated hotels to engage in acts of prostitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The women were arrested on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution. The women were handcuffed and took their mugshot on the hotel room bed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
