Korey Scott, 29, and Jenna Stewart, 24, broke in vehicles and then fired shots at one of the victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 2\/12\/2019 at 2:58 a.m., police responded to reports of a car being broken into and the discharging of a firearm near Bluff Wood Cove Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A short time later, responding officers located the suspect vehicle, a white Honda Accord, near Albemarle Road and Farm Pond Lane and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The occupants, Mr. Scott and Ms. Stewart, were detained without incident. As a result of the investigation, it was determined Mr. Scott fired two shots from a firearm when confronted by the victim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, a search of the Honda revealed a plethora of stolen property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Scott and Ms. Stewart were charged with seven counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. In addition to those charges, Mr. Scott was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and possession with intent to sale and distribute cocaine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
