Melson Quince, 35, was killed in a shooting at Nikki’s strip club in Charlotte, NC. The club has had a number of Alcohol Beverage Control violations over the years, and had shutdown at one point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club Nikki’s was even ordered to pay over $15,000 in fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On February 18 a disturbance began at Club Nikki’s strip club located at 3001 Little Rock Road, as there were many celebrating NBA All Star events in Charlotte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The disturbance moved to the parking lot and ultimately led to an exchange of gunfire between at least two individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A short time later, a male arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later that morning officers responded to a nearby location for an assist Medic call. When they arrived, they located Melson with an apparent gunshot wound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Melson was pronounced deceased on scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between 2009 and 2016, there were seven violations recorded at Club Nikkis by Alcohol Law Enforcement, resulting in $15,900 in fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some past violations include drugs being allowed in the club and underage workers. Alcohol Law Enforcement plans to ask the ABC Commission to immediately suspend the club’s license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
