Hood\u2019s trial began March 4, 2019, before The Honorable Carla N. Archie, Superior Court Judge, and ended March 12, 2019, with the jury\u2019s guilty verdict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mecklenburg County District Attorney\u2019s Homicide Team tried Hood, 32, for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The jury found him guilty as charged.
