Mark Bollinger said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at the BB&amp;T Bank branch on Herlong Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Latavian handed a teller a note saying he had a bomb, then demanded money and attempted to steal money from a teller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Latavian also told four bank employees that the bomb would kill everyone in the bank, arrest warrants state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patrol officers and the police department bomb squad responded. No bomb was found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police searched Latavian&#8217;s car and did not find any weapons or a bomb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No bank employees were injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Latavian is charged with attempted armed robbery and making bomb threats.
