The 911 caller advised that he was in a boat when he spotted the victim. Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department&#8217;s Lake Wylie Boat Patrol as well as the Charlotte-Fire Department responded to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victim has been pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this point it is unknown who the victim is, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/missing-woman-s-car-found-by-lake-wylie-police-boats-on-the-look-out\">Vatsla&#8217;s Mercedes Benz was found parked in a parking lot on Lake Wylie on March 22nd.<\/a> Vatsla went missing just days earlier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vatsla Watkins, 39, went missing in March 2019.
