The area is near Lasalle Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wife identified as Santa Acevedo, 71, died from the shooting. The husband was taken to Atrium Health for treatment. It appears that the shooting occurred in a house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials were called to the scene after gunshots were fired.
