{"id":14760,"date":"2019-04-16T02:38:51","date_gmt":"2019-04-16T02:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3c40002458"},"modified":"2025-02-26T23:38:16","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T23:38:16","slug":"man-arrested-at-church-on-palm-sunday-after-rushing-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2019\/04\/16\/man-arrested-at-church-on-palm-sunday-after-rushing-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN ARRESTED AT CHURCH ON PALM SUNDAY AFTER RUSHING STAGE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robert Smothers, 37, interrupted the Palm Sunday church service by rushing the front stage and causing $30,000 worth of damage.&nbsp;On April 14 Robert was at the church like many other worshipers, but all hell broke loose real fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robert for whatever reason came charging at the stage and allegedly attempted to steal church audio equipment, the church&#8217;s audio system was damaged in the process. Robert is facing charges including attempted larceny and disorderly conduct at a public building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robert served 12 years in prison for second degree murder and since his release, he has been arrested at least three other times this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robert was fired from Goodwill earlier this year after a manager accused him of stealing.
