{"id":14468,"date":"2019-06-06T14:40:44","date_gmt":"2019-06-06T14:40:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3920022568"},"modified":"2025-02-27T05:38:38","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T05:38:38","slug":"man-arrested-charged-in-the-memorial-day-weekend-murder-of-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2019\/06\/06\/man-arrested-charged-in-the-memorial-day-weekend-murder-of-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN ARRESTED CHARGED IN THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND MURDER OF WOMAN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Natron McDougald, 24, is charged with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/woman-killed-during-memorial-day-weekend-she-was-in-the-military\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the murder of Monica Smith, 26.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Memorial Day weekend murder was part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/2-people-stabbed-and-3-shootings-on-memorial-day-2019-including-one-murder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a rash of violence during the holiday festivities.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result of continued investigation into this case, Natron was identified as a suspect.&nbsp;On June 5 Natron was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the evening of May 25, 2019 Monica was killed on Catherine Simmons Avenue Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After receiving 911 calls officials located Monica on the ground with a apparent gunshot wound inside of her apartment.
