Alani was able to give birth to the baby girl victim after the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/pregnant-teenager-shot-on-beatties-ford-road-she-baby-fighting-for-their-life\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alani was in the parking lot of a strip-mall shopping center when she was shot.<\/a> Paramedics responded and transported the victim to Atrium Health\u2019s Carolinas Medical Center where hospital staff delivered her baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Alani and her child have life-threatening injuries.
