He was sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The charge stems from the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig during a fight in the Walmart on Bryton Town Center Drive in Huntersville, NC on November 5, 2018. DaBaby claims that he was defending himself when people were attempting to rob him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/rapper-dababy-was-defending-self-in-walmart-shooting-charges-dropped\">Earlier this year the concealed weapon charges were dropped.<\/a> But painstaking prosecutors recharged Dababy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DaBaby&#8217;s song &#8220;Suge&#8221; went platinum this week, solidifying him as a multi-millionaire.
