The incident happened at 10:17 p.m. The employee was transported to Carolinas Medical Center-Main where he later died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charlotte Douglas International Airport issued the following statement:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Last night, a single ramp vehicle accident occurred at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Emergency and medical crews responded and transported the driver to the hospital, where he later died. &nbsp;Our thoughts are with the employee\u2019s family and co-workers.
