A airline employee at Charlotte Douglas International Airport was killed in a accident. The employee identified as Kendrick Hudson, 24, was crushed by a luggage hauling tug on August 11, 2019 around 10 at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airport Division patrol officers responded to an accident call on the ramp near Concourse E involving a tug. Kendrick was the employee driving the tug.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Kendrick was operating the tug officials say he was unable to avoid striking a piece of luggage that had been dropped on the tarmac. As a result of striking the luggage and Kendrick making a hard right turn, the tug rolled onto its’ left side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Tug rolled, Kendrick was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle then landed on Kendrick killing him. Paramedics responded to the scene, but Kendrick was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified and they will conduct a separate investigation. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
