{"id":13931,"date":"2019-08-19T19:21:02","date_gmt":"2019-08-19T19:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3990102568"},"modified":"2025-03-03T06:34:49","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T06:34:49","slug":"prison-inmate-allegedly-commits-suicide-at-north-carolina-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2019\/08\/19\/prison-inmate-allegedly-commits-suicide-at-north-carolina-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"PRISON INMATE ALLEGEDLY COMMITS SUICIDE AT NORTH CAROLINA PRISON"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An offender at Bertie Correctional Institution in Windsor, NC&nbsp;died on Aug. 18 in&nbsp;an alleged apparent suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Offender Kyle Berry, 40, was found unresponsive in his cell at 3:41 pm. Custody and facility medical staff began immediate life-saving procedures. Outside EMS was called to the facility and Kyle was declared deceased at approximately 3:52 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kyle was originally serving two sentences on Death Row&nbsp;for the 1998 death of 16 year-old Theresa Fetter in New Hanover County, NC.
