Keishaun Harper, 39, was at the center of a SWAT encounter for hours in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 14, 2019 around midnight a 911 call was made on Mona Drive in reference to a domestic related assault. The caller advised that her boyfriend Keishaun assaulted her and was armed with a gun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First responders made contact with Keishaun who allegedly refused to come out of the residence and barricaded himself inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nearby residents were relocated as a precaution. Members of the SWAT Team and negotiators were activated and responded to the scene, set up a perimeter and attempted to make contact with Keishaun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a standoff with SWAT and speaking with Negotiators, Keishaun surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
