Raheem Shacklette, 16, is charged with John&#8217;s murder. John is the CEO of Dispose RX, a drug disposal company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/teen-charged-in-shooting-of-74-year-old-man\">John was shot in uptown Charlotte, NC on South College Street on September 30, 2019 in the late afternoon.<\/a> After spending days in the hospital fighting for his life, John succumbed to his injuries days later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A disturbance between several people broke out on South College St. near the Epi-Center party district, a gun was fired and Mr. Holaday was hit, although he was not the intended target.
