Freddy Cortes, 20, Hezekiah Hairston, 19, Angel Gusman-Hernandez, 21, and Reshawn Cook, 21, have all been charged with robbery and kidnapping related charges following a October 16, 2019 alleged encounter in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 16, at around 12:55 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Regal Estate Lane in reference to a home invasion where the victims were robbed. Upon arrival, the victims advised that three unknown suspects wearing masks entered the residence with a firearm pointed at the victims. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspects robbed them of cash, marijuana, and a PlayStation before fleeing from the scene in a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Detectives from the Real Time Crime Center identified Hezekiah on electronic monitoring and placed him at the incident location during the time of the home invasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Crime Reduction Unit was able to locate Hezekiah and an unoccupied vehicle matching the description of the vehicle that fled the scene at an apartment located on Tara Lane. A PlayStation, mask and marijuana were also located in the apartment. Freddy, Reshawn, and Angel were allegedly with Hezekiah when he was located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All suspects were arrested and charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Breaking and Entering, 2nd Degree Kidnapping and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
