{"id":12883,"date":"2020-01-16T22:23:21","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T22:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3a20012568"},"modified":"2025-02-25T03:49:25","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T03:49:25","slug":"man-robs-la-unica-latino-grocery-store-after-approaching-clerk-with-knife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2020\/01\/16\/man-robs-la-unica-latino-grocery-store-after-approaching-clerk-with-knife\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN ROBS LA UNICA LATINO GROCERY STORE AFTER APPROACHING CLERK WITH KNIFE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Andre Jones, 35, robbed the La Unica Supermarket on South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC in December 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 16, 2020 Andre pled guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon and being a habitual felon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andre was sentenced to 130-168 months in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One evening in December 2018, an employee of La Unica Supermarket was working at the cash register when Andre, wearing a face mask, approached her with a knife and demanded that she open her cash register. Andre took $745 and two money orders from the cash register before leaving the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another employee followed Andre and saw him remove his face mask after the robbery. That employee was able to see the suspect&#8217;s face and provided police with a physical description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on that information, officers were able to quickly locate Andre.
