{"id":10915,"date":"2021-02-17T07:05:58","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T07:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02819f3b70102568"},"modified":"2025-02-24T09:49:47","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T09:49:47","slug":"border-patrol-dog-sniffs-out-3-illegal-immigrants-hiding-in-trunk-of-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/02\/17\/border-patrol-dog-sniffs-out-3-illegal-immigrants-hiding-in-trunk-of-vehicle\/","title":{"rendered":"BORDER PATROL DOG SNIFFS OUT 3 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS HIDING IN TRUNK OF VEHICLE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A canine for the Border Patrol alerted to a vehicle in which 3 illegal immigrants were found hiding in the trunk of a vehicle on February 11, 2021 in Yuma, Arizona at the Interstate 8 immigration checkpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the checkpoint encountered a Chrysler sedan at approximately 7:45 a.m. Agents referred the vehicle to the checkpoint\u2019s secondary inspection area due to the suspicious behavior of the driver and passenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While in secondary, a canine alerted to the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed three Mexican nationals hiding in the vehicle\u2019s trunk. A fourth Mexican national was also discovered hiding on the floorboard behind the driver and passenger seat; however, he exited the vehicle with the driver and passenger prior to the canine sniff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, agents found a loaded handgun, and personal use amounts of methamphetamine, narcotic pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
