The shipment contained about 44 pounds of cocaine coated corn flakes, which could have a street value of up to $2,822,400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A narcotic detector dog was working incoming freight at a Cincinnati port. A shipment from Peru arrived and the dog alerted to the large shipment of cereal headed to a private residence in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When officers opened the box of cereal to take a closer look, they saw that the cereal contained white powder, and the flakes were coated with a grayish substance. Officers tested the flakes and powder to find that they contained cocaine, which is a schedule II substance under the Controlled Substances Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drug smugglers will hide narcotics in anything imaginable.
