On March 8, 2021 the suspects were arrested with the assistance from the U.S. Marshals. Darrick is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree attempted murder.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The double homicide unfolded on February 22, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. on Woodleaf Drive in Gastonia during a shooting. 50-year-old Christopher Lee Brooks was found dead on the scene, and two other people were wounded in the shooting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the very next day 54-year-old Matthew Christopher Allison died from his injuries sustained during the shooting.
