Javontate Richardson, 30, was arrested on April 8, 2021 in Miami, FL after a teen inmate at a detention center for girls said he had sex with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The alleged sex is said to of occurred on April 5, 2021. A 15-year-old female inmate at the Miami Girl\u2019s Academy told a youth care specialist she had engaged in sexual activity with Javontate. Authorities were called in and reviewed video footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities say surveillance video at the Miami Girl\u2019s Academy corroborates the teen girl’s allegations. Javontate was confronted at his job by law enforcement and was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Javontate is charged with sexual battery on a minor by an adult and sexual misconduct with an inmate. He was employed by True Behavioral Solutions, which is a government contractor that places guards at the girl’s detention center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
