Times were getting hard for Stephanie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers with the Miami-Dade\u2019s eviction task force breached Stephanie&#8217;s front door to serve an eviction execution. Officials say Stephanie fired a shot at the task force officers. At least one officer returned fire, striking Stephanie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cShe fired the firearm and it hit our shield. Thanks to the grace of God, none of our officers were injured,\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>said Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stephanie was rushed to the hospital where she died.
