The methamphetamine was discovered within a commercial truck arriving from Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers referred a tractor\/trailer hauling a commercial shipment of fresh strawberries for further inspection and ultimately officers discovered 177 packages of methamphetamine concealed within the boxes of strawberries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These bundles of narcotics weighed 411 pounds and are valued at $8,223,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drugs were seized.&nbsp;Port Director Carlos Rodriguez says:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur officers definitely rose to the challenge by detecting these narcotics loads in two separate commercial shipments at our cargo facility.
