{"id":10169,"date":"2021-05-30T23:43:53","date_gmt":"2021-05-30T23:43:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02846d71900027cb"},"modified":"2021-05-30T23:43:53","modified_gmt":"2021-05-30T23:43:53","slug":"a-woman-was-killed-on-memorial-day-weekend-again-in-charlotte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/05\/30\/a-woman-was-killed-on-memorial-day-weekend-again-in-charlotte\/","title":{"rendered":"MOTHER MURDERED DURING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, 2 MEN ARRESTED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>29-year-old Ashly Marquez was murdered during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 2021 in Charlotte, NC.&nbsp;June Brantley, 30, and Troy Privette, 31, were charged in connection to Ashly&#8217;s murder.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgxMzkwMzEzMjAwMjk3OTMx\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>  <a href=\"https:\/\/charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/two-men-arrested-in-memorial-day-weekend-murder-of-female-military-veteran\">Monica Smith was killed during Memorial Day weekend 2019.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shortly after 4:00 p.m., on May 29, 2021, officers responded to a welfare check 911 call on Biscayne Drive in Charlotte. When they arrived, officers located Ashly dead. Ashly had several kids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/young-woman-killed-near-eastway-middle-school-in-woods-shot-several-times\">Arianna Edmonds was murdered on&nbsp;Biscayne Drive also in 2019. Arianna was found dead in the woods.<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation as foul play had been suspected in Ashly&#8217;s murder.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As a result of continued investigation and assistance from the Real Time Crime Center,&nbsp;detectives&nbsp;were able to identify two suspects in this case.
