On January 2, 2022 Jalen Mills, 19, and Tony Smith, 22, were shot and killed in the parking lot of an Extended Stay America Hotel in Durham, NC.
The shooting was at South Miami Boulevard around 1:36 a.m. An altercation occurred and a suspect shot Jalen and Tony. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene in the parking lot.
No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
