On May 12, 2022 a fiery crash occurred involving a dump truck and a Department of Transportation vehicle on Interstate 77 in Green, Ohio.
The DOT truck was pulled over on the shoulder of the interstate when a dump truck came crashing into the DOT truck from behind.
An explosion immediately ignited from both vehicles, resulting in a bubble of flames that went high into the sky. Both drivers encountered serious burns and were rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The crash stopped traffic for miles.
