On June 8, 2022 Leon Allen, 27, was charged with the murder of Darius Threatt, 31, in Monroe, NC. Deandre Leach, 19, was charged with accessory after the fact.
Police responded to a shots fired call just after 1 p.m. on June 8th in Monroe. Upon arrival, police found Darius with a fatal gunshot wound.
Leon and Deandre were identified as suspects. Warrants were obtained for the suspects and they were arrested a few hours later.
