31-year-old Eleni Kassa was found dead on November 27, 2022 in Dearborn, Michigan. Dominique Hardwick, 36, was the driver of the Dodge Charger, and she fatally shot herself in the head after a high speed chase.
Eleni and Dominique were friends of some sort. On November 17, 2022 Eleni did not show up to pick up her young daughter from daycare in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The very next day Eleni’s family reported her missing.The missing person investigation led to the discovery of a possible domestic violence incident with Eleni and Dominique in Tennessee. Eleni’s cell phone and car were left at Dominique’s apartment. A license plate scanner indicated that Dominique’s black Dodge Charger car was in Dearborn, Michigan on November 27th.
Michigan State Police tracked the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Dominique was driving the Dodge Charger and refused to stop. A short chase began, but cops called it off due to rain.
A few minutes later cops received a report of the same Dodge Charger crashing into a home. Cops arrived at the crash site and Dominique shot herself in the head, she died on the scene.
Cops searched the Dodge Charger and found Eleni’s dead body in the trunk. It is still not clear how Eleni was killed. An autopsy is being performed.
